TST began providing Discovery Communications, Inc. (DCI) with consulting services via a subcontract with Robert Half International (RHI). This contract entailed managing the Engineering Branch of Technology, Operations and Support for ten cable channels, two major retail chain companies, and ten outer worldwide office locations.

TST was charged with maintaining 4,500 corporate workstations' total cost of ownership including the rollout of MS SMS to all desktops worldwide in five different languages. Custom software applications for each department were developed, with all applications storing their data in one central repository, and training was conducted to ensure a smooth transition to the new applications. The project progressed into developing corporate-level applications for financial systems, channel programming, uplink, storage solutions and commercial feeds. TST developed web audio/video streaming technologies for Discovery online production programs, desktop videoconferencing, and a video images library. Technical assistance was provided to create the Digital Images library and aid in Discovery Online's web development. NAS and SAN solutions were deployed for Email and the Digital Images Library.

TST was asked to assist in the development of a security solution for the corporate infrastructure. TST proposed a comprehensive Network Operations Center (NOC) to provide managed information services for the Headquarters and remote offices around the World. In conjunction with the establishment of the NOC, TST devised and developed a tool that consolidates the configuration, document and content management systems for DCI departments worldwide.

TST was also consulted regarding recommendations for firewall and Intrusion Detection System enhancements and/or replacements.
